Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Attends the ‘2023 Nowon-gu Youth Joint Festival Cheongmiso’

Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the ‘2023 Nowon-gu Youth Joint Festival Cheongmiso’ held at the main stadium of Seoul National University of Science and Technology in Nowon-gu, Seoul, at 3:30 PM on the 9th.

The youth festival Cheongmiso is named by combining ‘Cheong’ from the Youth Artist Market, ‘Mi’ from the Nowon Youth Future Science Festival, and ‘So’ from the Youth Festival - Wish. It was organized as a joint youth festival to gather the sporadically held youth events into a large-scale and substantial festival.

The event was attended by about 4,000 people including Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Kim Jun-seong, Chairman of the Nowon District Council, members of the National Assembly, Seo Jun-o, Seoul City Council member, as well as elementary, middle, and high school students and youth. The program proceeded in the order of opening ceremony, guest speeches, youth performances, and special performances.

Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, said, “I felt the need to bring together youth-related events and promote them systematically, which led to planning this joint festival. We will continue to provide an environment where young people can realize their dreams and hopes.”
