Busan Port Authority (BPA) conducted an environmental cleanup volunteer activity on the 9th along the beach and roads near the small vessel dock at Busan New Port, together with the Busan New Port Facility Management Center.
This volunteer activity was carried out to resolve the inconvenience experienced by port users due to the deterioration of the scenery and foul odors caused by garbage left unattended near the small vessel dock in the port area.
Officials from Busan Port Authority and Busan New Port Facility Management Center, who participated in the environmental cleanup volunteer activity, are taking a group commemorative photo.
On that day, about 20 officials from the two organizations moved along the coastline and roads near the small vessel dock at the New Port, collecting various trash discarded on the roads and beaches as well as waste washed ashore from the sea.
A representative from Busan Port Authority stated, “We will continue to strive to improve the appearance of the port area near Busan New Port.”
Busan Port Authority has been leading efforts to improve the scenery of the New Port area every year, including conducting cleanup activities along the Busan New Port Trail (Galmaegil) in 2022.
