Lee Soo-hee, Mayor of Gangdong-gu, Conducts On-site Inspection of Rainwater Pump Stations to Prepare for Summer Flood Damage

Lee Soo-hee, Mayor of Gangdong-gu, visited local rainwater pump stations on the 7th to prepare for flood damage caused by heavy summer rains.

The mayor visited all three rainwater pump stations in the area?Cheonho, Godeok, and Seongnae?to check the facility status and directly inspect disaster prevention equipment such as motor pumps.

She also checked the water levels in retention basins and operational water levels, urging thorough flood prevention duties and safety measures to prevent flood damage.

After the on-site inspection, Mayor Lee Soo-hee stated, “With the possibility of heavy rains this coming summer, thorough preparation and proactive response are necessary to prevent damage. Going forward, the district will continue to do its best to protect the lives and property of residents and ensure safety through inspections of rainwater pump station facilities.”
