"If I do it, it's fraudulent sale! If you do it, it's legal sale!"
“Where did the resort go after just draining my money? S Park is a company that just prints membership rights!”
Some members of a golf resort recently opened in Miryang, Gyeongnam, made these remarks while urging the normalization of golf course bookings and the commencement of resort construction.
About 150 members of the Miryang S Park Golf Resort Members' Council held a protest rally in front of Miryang City Hall on the 8th, stating, “We trusted Miryang City and spent hundreds of millions of won to purchase memberships, but it is difficult to book the golf course, and the resort construction has not even started.”

This golf resort operates an 18-hole public golf course and a resort as part of the Miryang Rural Tourism and Recreation Complex located in Michon-ri, Danjang-myeon, Miryang City. However, contrary to the original agreement, the resort construction has not even begun, and problems have arisen because golf course bookings are not properly managed due to an excessive number of members.
The Members' Council claimed, “S Park Golf Resort recruited golf course members through irregular methods to raise project funds and used this money to build the golf course.” They stated that although S Park Golf Resort initially planned to sell 200 memberships, they signed subscription contracts for as many as 472 memberships, amounting to an estimated 170 billion won.
They paid subscription fees ranging from at least 180 million won to as much as 500 million won under the condition of receiving special treatment such as booking benefits and discounted rates when using the golf course and resort.
However, the resort construction has not started, and due to the excessive number of members, booking the golf course itself is difficult.
As a result, members complain that the number of buyers is so large that they cannot even use the golf course once a month, which is far below the original plan.

In their appeal on this day, they claimed, “SC Holdings, the golf course operator, does not try to correct this but rather threatens members who are voicing unfair damages.”
They raised their voices, saying, “The responsibility for this situation lies with Miryang City. The city must immediately stop intimidating and threatening members and wake up.”
Meanwhile, the S Park Golf Resort golf course officially opened in April. The ‘Miryang Rural Tourism Complex,’ where the golf course is located, is equipped with public facilities such as a rural experience theme park and the Yeongnam Alps Ecotourism Center, and is scheduled to be completed between July and September, with full-scale operation planned for the second half of the year.
