Showcasing New Technologies in TV and Home Appliances

Samsung Electronics held the '2023 China Tech Seminar' in Beijing, China, over two days from the 8th to the 9th (local time), showcasing new TV and home appliance technologies for 2023.

Since 2012, Samsung has been hosting 'Tech Seminars' for major tech and lifestyle media worldwide, introducing core TV technologies and services while gathering diverse feedback. This time, Bespoke (BESPOKE) home appliance technologies, including refrigerators, washing machines, and dryers, were also presented.

The China Tech Seminar, held offline again this year after the pandemic, attracted over 150 attendees including key local media and business partners, drawing significant industry attention.

Samsung Electronics introduced TV innovations such as upgraded picture quality of the 2023 Neo QLED 8K, 98-inch QLED, and OLED models, enhanced gaming experiences, The Frame’s matte display, and smart calibration. Additionally, proprietary AI-centered technologies of the popular global Bespoke line were showcased.

The Bespoke washing machines and dryers featured AI-based technologies like 'AI Customized Washing' and 'AI Customized Drying,' which automatically assess laundry volume and soil level to optimize washing and drying. They also highlighted 'AI Customized Recommendation' technology that suggests courses based on consumer usage patterns. Refrigerator technologies that garnered great interest included a wide temperature range setting from -23 to 4°C with multiple modes for customized storage, and micro-precise temperature control technology minimizing temperature variance between the refrigerator and freezer compartments to ±0.5°C.

Prior to the China Tech Seminar, Samsung Electronics held tech seminars in Germany in February and Australia in April.
