Kyungsung University held the Daedongje Festival for three days from the 23rd to the 25th of last month.
This year's Daedongje carried the theme "Kyungsung University Daedongje for Realizing Social Value," delivering messages such as revitalizing the local community, ESG environmental campaigns, and supporting the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo.
In particular, on the 25th, a parade was held from Kyungsung University to Gwangalli Beach, where the main stage was set up, featuring the campaign to support the 2030 Busan World Expo bid, screening of award-winning short-form videos, and the environmental cleanup volunteer activity called the "Kyungsung Follow-Plogging" campaign.

Kyungsung University stated that this event was significant not only as a place for students, faculty, alumni, and local residents to come together in harmony but also because it allowed members to actively participate in various social issues such as the 2030 Busan World Expo bid and environmental protection.
The Kyungsung University Student Council said, "This Daedongje was a meaningful festival as it went beyond a simple university celebration to include the slogan supporting the 2030 Busan World Expo bid in cooperation with the local community," adding, "We feel proud to see fellow students enjoying the festival."
