Flitto to Meet OpenAI CEO Sam Altman

Various Services Launched Integrating Generative AI
Expansion of High-Quality Language Data Supply Based on Flitto Integrated Platform

Language data and professional translation service company Flitto announced on the 8th that it will participate in a meeting with domestic startups hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups on the 9th. The meeting will include a dialogue between OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Minister Lee Young of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, followed by a Q&A session with domestic startups.

As the competition among mega AI models such as OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Bard intensifies, the demand for language data essential for AI training is also rapidly increasing. Flitto has built a high-quality language data supply through an integrated language platform used by over 10 million users worldwide, based on its self-developed AI translation engine and natural language processing (NLP) technology. Flitto's language data includes various metadata information such as topic, region, speaker's age and gender, and conversation type, optimizing it for AI training in specific fields and purposes.

Recently, Flitto launched the beta version of its translation service ‘Flitto AI+,’ which combines generative AI with a platform trained on vast language data. It introduced various practical language-related services combined with generative AI, such as ‘Flitto Place,’ which allows users to check unfamiliar food descriptions in multiple languages with a single touch, along with QR code-based digital menu translation.
