'One-Stop Export 119' First Launched in Banwol·Siwha Industrial Complex

Support for Export Difficulties Online in June

The One-Stop Export and Order Support Team announced that it launched the ‘One-Stop Export 119’ service on the 8th at the Banwol·Sihwa Industrial Complex, directly visiting local export companies to support their difficulties. Through this service, the support team held an export company meeting, an export support policy briefing, and one-on-one export difficulty consultations for eight companies located in the industrial complex.

The support team was established last year as a joint organization of related ministries and agencies to quickly resolve export difficulties in one place. Going forward, it plans to visit industrial complexes by region throughout the year to provide close on-site support for companies’ export challenges.

This ‘Banwol·Sihwa Industrial Complex One-Stop Export 119’ formed a public-private joint team centered on practical experts from related ministries and agencies, simultaneously holding an export company meeting, an export support policy briefing, and one-on-one export difficulty consultations at the industrial complex, enabling companies to access export-related information and consultations all at once on site.

At the export company meeting, solutions to export difficulties related to policy funds, overseas certification, overseas exhibitions, and other issues raised by resident companies were discussed. It was decided to promote various measures such as allowing the entry of diverse renewable energy companies including hydrogen and fuel cells, simplifying application documents for export vouchers and expanding support scope, and providing English certificates of commendation related to government awards to enhance trust with overseas buyers.

During the export support policy briefing, the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Overseas Certification Support Team of the National Institute of Technology and Standards comprehensively introduced government certification support programs related to domestic and international certifications, which are major export difficulties. One-on-one consultation booths involving experts from related organizations such as KOTRA and the Korea International Trade Association were also operated.

Starting from mid-June, an export difficulty support service will be provided online through its own website, resolving export difficulties from receipt to response. Bang Gi-seon, head of the team (1st Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance), said, "Through One-Stop Export 119, we will focus all policy capabilities on resolving export difficulties of local companies and improving export-related systems to boost export vitality."
