Among domestic golf courses, this is the golf course that can be used at the lowest price on weekdays. According to the Leisure White Paper 2023 recently published by the Korea Leisure Industry Research Institute, based on weekday usage fees (total of green fee + cart fee + caddy fee), South Links Yeongam CC was priced the cheapest last month at 140,000 KRW per person (Jimang Course). These two places are golf courses where you can play without a caddy, reducing the caddy fee burden of up to 150,000 KRW per team.

On Saturdays, Gyeongbuk Gumi City Golfzon County Gumi CC is the cheapest at 172,500 KRW. South Links Yeongam CC is the second cheapest with a Saturday usage fee of 175,000 KRW. Gyeongbuk Gyeongju Luna X CC also allows Saturday rounds for 188,000 KRW. It is a golf course composed of a total of four 6-hole courses. You can play from a minimum of 6 holes up to a maximum of 24 holes.


Among the top 10 golf courses with low usage fees, four are in the Honam region and three are in the Yeongnam region. In the metropolitan area, Orange Dunes Yeongjong CC, located in the Incheon Airport business district, was found to be the cheapest with 203,000 KRW on weekdays and 242,000 KRW on Saturdays. Incheon Dream Park CC charges 208,000 KRW on weekdays and 248,000 KRW on Saturdays. The average usage fee for public golf courses in the metropolitan area reaches 258,000 KRW on weekdays and 315,000 KRW on Saturdays.


Seo Cheonbeom, director of the Korea Leisure Industry Research Institute, said, "After the spread of COVID-19, golf course usage fees skyrocketed, increasing the preference for inexpensive public golf courses." He advised, "Especially, four places implementing the no-caddy system ranked in the top 10, but for the no-caddy system to spread, users need to pay more attention to preventing safety accidents."
