Choi Ho-kwon, Yeongdeungpo-gu Mayor, Conducts On-site Inspection of Dorimcheon Stepping Stones with Residents

On the 7th, Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, conducted a safety inspection of the stepping stones and access stairs installed in Dorimcheon together with residents.

Following the completion of the demolition of the Dorim Pedestrian Overpass in April this year, stepping stones and access stairs were installed in Dorimcheon to improve accessibility to Sindorim Station for Dorim-dong residents.

On this day, Mayor Choi received a report on the progress of the installation of the stepping stones and access stairs in Dorimcheon with residents and urged thorough safety management for users.

Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, stated, “We carefully examined the installation of the stepping stones and access stairs in Dorimcheon to alleviate the inconvenience of residents' daily lives,” and added, “We will make safety the top priority in our policies to ensure that accidents like the collapse of the Dorim Pedestrian Overpass never happen again.”
