Review of This Year's Implementation Plan and Key Initiatives
"As the ethical management system has been established, I hope all employees will work together with one mind to achieve the goal of becoming the best integrity institution this year."
On the 7th, Kim Young-san, President of Grand Korea Leisure (GKL), urged the executives and employees at the Ethics Management Committee meeting held at the GKL headquarters in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, saying, "Public enterprises exist on the foundation of the trust of the people, and the measure of that trust is integrity."

On this day, GKL reviewed the 2023 ethical management implementation plan. The detailed contents include ▲internalization of ethical management ▲establishment of management system ▲risk factor management plan ▲control activities ▲reporting and monitoring.
Based on this, GKL plans to classify and strengthen key control activities such as ▲abuse of power and authority ▲fair personnel management ▲vulnerable areas of the code of conduct ▲money laundering ▲casino access control.
About 10 members of the GKL Ethics Management Practice Group attended the meeting and presented practical opinions. They also discussed key promotion tasks for ethical and integrity vulnerable areas derived from last year’s comprehensive integrity evaluation results and control measures for each risk factor.
Previously, aiming to become the best integrity institution, GKL carried out activities such as ▲company-wide integrity campaigns led by the head of the institution ▲employee meetings hosted by the head to share current issues and collect opinions ▲posting card news and holding events to share integrity policies company-wide. Through these activities, GKL has achieved an excellent grade (Grade 2) in the Public Institution Comprehensive Integrity Evaluation by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission for three consecutive years since 2020.
