Hong Taeyong, Mayor of Gimhae, Awarded Honorary 4th Dan in Taekwondo

Kukkiwon Awards Honorary Certificate

Hong Taeyong, Mayor of Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, received the Kukkiwon Taekwondo Honorary Dan Certificate 4th Dan in his office on the 7th.

According to the city, the Taekwondo Honorary Dan Certificate is awarded by Kukkiwon after evaluation to individuals who have contributed to the dissemination and promotion of Taekwondo, in accordance with the Taekwondo examination rules and honorary dan certificate issuance regulations.

Mayor Hong received the certificate in recognition of his efforts in hosting Taekwondo competitions, supporting the Taekwondo Association, and promoting Taekwondo.

Mayor Hong said, "I am very honored to receive the Taekwondo Honorary Dan Certificate, the national martial art of the Republic of Korea," and added, "I will continue to spare no support to expand the local Taekwondo base and strengthen its status."
