Muan-gun Holds First Half Local Finance Rapid Execution Strategy Meeting

Full Effort in Fiscal Execution to Revitalize the Local Economy

Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) held the '2023 First Half Local Finance Rapid Execution Countermeasure Report Meeting' on the 5th at the county office situation room with all department heads in attendance.

According to the county on the 7th, the meeting focused on intensively checking the progress and promotion plans of major projects over 100 million KRW to achieve the first half local finance rapid execution target of 231.2 billion KRW and the second quarter consumption investment sector target of 107.5 billion KRW, and discussed measures to improve the progress rate of projects with sluggish execution.

The county plans to actively utilize systems such as advance payments, progress payments, early purchase of materials, and advance payment of rental fees by continuously managing the progress of each major project to improve the execution rate.

Governor Kim San, who presided over the meeting, said, "The promotion of public projects is a very important role of local governments to revitalize the stagnant regional economy," and urged, "Please make every effort to ensure that the county's major projects are carried out solidly and that the budget is executed quickly."

Meanwhile, Muan-gun was selected as an excellent and best local government respectively in the '2022 First and Second Half Local Finance Execution Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Jeollanam-do, securing a total of 220 million KRW in project funds and 12 million KRW in rewards.
