Held Four Thank-You Gift Selection Committees to Secure a Total of 55 Items from 20 Companies

Added Experiential Thank-You Gifts to Encourage Donors to Visit Eunpyeong-gu

Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) held the 4th Thank-You Gift Selection Committee on the 31st of last month at the district office’s planning situation room and selected four suppliers for the Hometown Love Donation Program thank-you gifts.

The selected thank-you gifts include Bulgwang Blacksmith (handmade knives and one other item), Cheonggiwa Tailor Shop (custom suits), Bobby (leather workshop experience voucher), and Lookround (candle workshop experience voucher and one other item), totaling six items from four companies.

Eunpyeong-gu plans to complete related procedures such as signing supply agreements and register the selected products in the ‘Hometown Love e-um’ system within this month. Since the first Thank-You Gift Selection Committee held on January 13, a total of 55 items from 20 companies have been selected.

Among the newly selected suppliers, Bulgwang Blacksmith (handmade knives and one other item) and Cheonggiwa Tailor Shop (custom suits) were designated as Seoul Future Heritage in 2013 and 2015, respectively. Recognized as tangible and intangible heritage valuable to pass on to future generations, they are representative landmarks of Eunpyeong-gu.

Through this selection of thank-you gifts for the Hometown Love Donation Program, it is expected to provide collectible thank-you gifts and further activate citizen participation in the program.

Additionally, Bobby (leather workshop experience voucher) and Lookround (candle workshop experience voucher and one other item) offer experience vouchers that allow donors to visit Eunpyeong-gu in person and participate in one-day classes. By encouraging donors to visit the area through these experience vouchers, it is expected to have a more positive effect beyond simply providing thank-you gifts, helping donors develop interest in and understanding of the region.

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, stated, “Considering the purpose of the Hometown Love Donation Program, securing collectible products that represent the region is important. We will continue to make efforts to activate participation in the donation program and increase donor satisfaction.”
