LG HelloVision's local channel commerce 'Jecheol Jangteo' has partnered with online commerce malls operated by local governments nationwide. Excellent agricultural and marine products from all over the country will now be available on 'Jecheol Jangteo' as well.
LG HelloVision announced on the 7th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Real Commerce for the joint development and distribution of outstanding local products. Through this agreement, excellent products from local government commerce malls will be introduced on 'Jecheol Jangteo', and local small business owners are expected to secure stable sales channels. Real Commerce is affiliated with about 10 local government commerce malls and handles approximately 5,000 regional products.

The agreement was signed at LG HelloVision's office studio, attended by Myungshin Kang, Executive Director (Head of Media Group) of LG HelloVision, and Seulgi Kim, CEO of Real Commerce. Both parties agreed to cooperate on ▲selling products through each other's channels ▲joint development and distribution of mutually beneficial local products ▲supporting the revitalization of local commerce malls.
First, a ‘Local Government Section’ will be newly established on 'Jecheol Jangteo' in July. Excellent products sold at each local government mall will be introduced on 'Jecheol Jangteo' by region. Currently, about 10 products such as garlic, onions, and rice sold at Jeollanam-do’s ‘Namdo Jangteo’ have been listed. In the future, about 150 representative products from local government malls such as Gyeongsangnam-do’s ‘e Gyeongnam Mall’ and Gyeonggi-do’s ‘Yeoju Mall’ will be added sequentially.
Additionally, both companies plan to sell products using their respective channels. After selecting representative products from local commerce malls, they will jointly sell these products through each company’s TV commerce and live commerce channels to help local small business owners open new sales channels. Furthermore, various collaborations such as special exhibitions, promotions, joint product development, and expanding partnerships are expected to greatly contribute to revitalizing the local economy.
Seulgi Kim, CEO of Real Commerce, said, “This agreement is a great opportunity for local small business owners who have struggled to open sales channels to gain an additional online sales route,” adding, “We will spare no support for local government commerce malls and Jecheol Jangteo.”
Myungshin Kang, Executive Director of LG HelloVision, said, “We expect many customers to easily access excellent agricultural and marine products from across the country through this agreement,” and added, “We will continue various activities to help local small business owners open new sales channels.”
