NEOM's First Asia Exhibition to Be Held in Korea at the End of July

From July 26 to August 3
Held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza Art Hall, Seoul

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and NEOM announced on the 7th that they will hold the "NEOM Exhibition (Discover NEOM: A New Future by Design)" for 9 days from July 26 to August 3 at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul.

NEOM refers to an eco-friendly new city construction project spanning approximately 265,000 km² along the Red Sea in the northwest of Saudi Arabia.

This exhibition is the first in Asia jointly promoted through cooperation between the two organizations, following an agreement during a virtual meeting between Minister Won Hee-ryong and NEOM CEO Nadmi Al Nasr in April. Various sculptures and videos about NEOM's vision and The Line, the linear city at the heart of NEOM, will be displayed.

The exhibition will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. for 9 days starting July 26. Admission is free, but advance reservation through an online system is required. Detailed information about ticket reservations will be provided later.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport plans to hold a briefing session during the exhibition to introduce innovative technologies from Korean companies to NEOM representatives. This event is expected to serve as an opportunity to promote the participation and investment of Korean companies in the NEOM project.

Nadmi Al Nasr, NEOM CEO, said, "It is an honor to introduce The Line in Korea, and this exhibition will be an attractive experience to learn about NEOM directly and to experience The Line firsthand."

Minister Won Hee-ryong of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport stated, "Through this exhibition, we aim to enhance the understanding of our companies and citizens about NEOM, Saudi Arabia's future eco-friendly city construction project, while showcasing our competitiveness in various fields such as smart cities, IT, and culture, and to expand the network between our companies and NEOM."
