Recruitment Starts on June 12, First-Come-First-Served on Women’s Center Website
Busan Women's Center is recruiting students for the 3rd term of the 2023 educational program for citizens to support participation in economic activities such as employment and entrepreneurship, as well as skill development for office workers.
This year’s 3rd term educational program will run from July 3 to September 30. The Women's Center plans to recruit 1,790 students for 93 courses in the 3rd term program.
Reflecting the demand of students, the program newly offers a ▲Beauty Makeup course. It also includes national certification courses such as ▲Western Cuisine Cooking Technician ▲Floral Decoration Technician ▲Beautician (General, Makeup, Nail, Skin), along with courses that can be linked to employment and small capital entrepreneurship such as ▲Nail Art ▲Cookies and Scones ▲Pet Snacks (Pet Baking). Additionally, evening classes for office workers and families such as ▲Excel 2016 ▲Home Cafe ▲Baking Class, and weekend classes like ▲Family Home Bakery ▲Clothing Making will be offered.
Anyone aged 18 or older and a citizen of Busan can enroll, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis through the Busan Women's Center website.
Priority registration for socially disadvantaged groups such as basic livelihood security recipients will be held from 9 a.m. on June 12 to 6 p.m. on June 14. General registration will be from 9 a.m. on June 19 to 6 p.m. on June 30, and additional registration will take place after the start of classes, from 9 a.m. on July 3 to 6 p.m. on July 7.
Cha Jeong-hee, Director of the Busan Women's Center, said, “We hope that this 3rd term educational program will expand opportunities for citizens to learn and pursue employment and entrepreneurship.” She added, “We will continue to strive to provide high-quality education reflecting citizens’ needs and trends.”
