Mr. A answered in a faint voice but gradually lost consciousness. When Mr. Kang noticed that Mr. A was not breathing, he immediately laid him on the floor and performed CPR.

Then, paramedics who arrived after the report took additional measures, and Mr. A regained consciousness, was transported to the hospital, examined, and later discharged.

Mr. Kang said, "I saw a woman collapsed alone and couldn’t just pass by, so I spoke to her," adding, "I received CPR training in the military, and I’m glad I could help someone."

The Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters stated, "Since it was a late hour with few people around, Mr. A could have been in danger, but thanks to Mr. Kang’s prompt response, a precious life was saved."
