Working 5 hours a day, 5 days a week from July 3 to 30
Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Seongheon) is recruiting 31 university students for part-time jobs during the upcoming summer vacation.
Applications are accepted from the 5th to 6 PM on the 14th of this month through the district office website (District News → Job Information → Part-time Job Recruitment), and candidates will be selected by a computerized lottery on the 15th.
Among them, 5 will be given priority selection from households of National Basic Livelihood Security recipients, lower-income groups, families of national veterans (applicant or parents), and persons with disabilities (applicant).
Applicants must be enrolled or on leave at a university under the Higher Education Act and registered as residents in Seodaemun-gu as of the application start date. However, students who participated in part-time jobs during last summer vacation or this winter vacation are excluded.
The part-time university students will work 5 hours a day on weekdays for 20 days from July 3 to 30.
The tasks include assisting with administrative work, organizing materials, guiding civil complaints and events, and conducting on-site inspections.
The compensation is based on the 2023 Seodaemun-gu living wage (11,157 KRW per hour) plus weekly holiday allowance, amounting to 1,338,840 KRW if working without absence.
