Operating a total of 31 unmanned civil service issuing machines, striving to enhance satisfaction with administrative services
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) has undertaken the replacement and new installation of unmanned civil service issuing machines to provide advanced administrative services.
The unmanned civil service issuing machines allow issuance of a total of 118 types of certificates, including resident registration certificates and family relation certificates, without time restrictions. Some certificates are exempt from fees, leading to a steady increase in usage and highlighting the necessity of these machines.
The district has completely replaced the old unmanned civil service issuing machines at three subway stations?Guui Station, Konkuk University Station, and Junggok Station?and installed all seven essential specifications mandated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
As a result, accessibility and usability have been improved for people with disabilities and the elderly.
Additionally, considering the high demand for the unmanned civil service issuing machine at Gwangjang-dong Community Service Center, a new machine was installed at Gwangnaru Station (Line 5) to enhance efficiency and convenience.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, stated, “We operate unmanned civil service issuing machines to provide quick and convenient administrative services to residents. We will continue to seek various ways to improve satisfaction with administrative services and do our best to implement customized policies.”
The district has installed and operates unmanned civil service issuing machines at a total of 31 locations with high foot traffic, including the district office, six subway stations, Konkuk University Hospital, the National Mental Health Center, Technomart, Star City Mall, and community service centers.
