Gyeongnam Jeongbodae Holds Technical Officer Training Project Briefing for High School Students

The Semiconductor Department Technical Officer Training Project Group at Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Dae-sik) held the '2023 Technical Officer Training Project Participation Briefing' for students and parents of the Electronic Control Department at Kyungsung Electronics High School.

The briefing was attended by 2nd and 3rd-year students, parents, and teachers from Kyungsung Electronics High School. It included an introduction to the Semiconductor Department and an explanation of the project by the head of the Gyeongnam Information University project group, as well as guidance on future schedules.

The '2023 Technical Officer Training Project Participation Briefing Session' is currently underway.

In May, Gyeongnam Information University was selected as the leading university for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Technical Officer Training Project,' which provides linked education with vocational high schools to cultivate technical personnel demanded by companies.

The Gyeongnam Information University Technical Officer Training Project Group plans to select participating high school students and conduct after-school and vacation special lectures, corporate experience and visits, attendance at the Semiconductor Expo, visits to overseas semiconductor equipment exhibitions, student camps, and more.

In particular, students participating in the project will receive benefits such as 1 million KRW upon admission to the linked university, Gyeongnam Information University, 1 million KRW upon obtaining an industrial engineer certificate after admission, and 500,000 KRW training incentives for first-year junior college students.
