A man in his 20s who exposed major parts of his body on a main road was caught by the police following reports and pursuit by the victimized elementary school students.
The Gyeongsangbuk-do Gyeongsan Police Station announced on the 5th that they have apprehended and are investigating A (in his 20s) on charges of public indecency.
A, a university student, is accused of exposing specific parts of his body on the afternoon of the 31st of last month on a main road in Hayang-eup, Gyeongsan City. After exposing himself, A fled the scene when he encountered four elementary school students walking by, but the victimized students chased after him. During this pursuit, one of the elementary students called 112, and the police arrived at the scene.
A was caught several hundred meters away from the crime scene. The police are investigating whether A is connected to other public indecency crimes reported at the end of last year.
