Announcement in October after review by Certification Review Committee and others
The Cultural Heritage Administration announced on the 5th that it will accept online applications for certification of cultural heritage education programs until July 14.
The cultural heritage education program certification system is a program that selects and certifies excellent programs that meet the standards set by the Cultural Heritage Protection Act to expand and improve the quality of cultural heritage education. Since its implementation in 2021, twenty-five programs, including "Gwangsan, Cultural Heritage Blossoms," have been recognized.
Local governments and private organizations that develop, distribute, and operate cultural heritage education programs can apply through the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation website. The Cultural Heritage Administration will announce the selected programs in October after document review, on-site inspection, and certification committee evaluation. Certificates in the name of the Administrator will be issued, and the use of the official certification mark of the Cultural Heritage Administration will be permitted. Promotion activities for cultural heritage education programs will also be supported.
To facilitate easy and quick understanding, an online briefing session will be held on the 14th. For more details, please refer to the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation website.
