"People Are the Cruelest... Will Imprint Through Actions" Post
Perpetrator-Exposing YouTuber Faces 'Personal Information Infringement Report'
The personal information of the perpetrator of the 'Busan spinning kick incident,' who mercilessly assaulted an unknown woman by following her, has been revealed through a YouTube channel, and now the perpetrator's social media service (SNS) account has been exposed, rapidly spreading among netizens.
On the 4th, several online communities posted the SNS account address or captured posts of perpetrator A under titles such as 'Busan spinning kick culprit Instagram' and 'Busan spinning kick guy Instagram posts.' Accessing this account reveals photos of A’s own face taken by himself, drinking party photos, and photos and videos of a woman presumed to be a former girlfriend.
Earlier, the incident and accident specialized YouTube channel 'Caracula Detective Agency' uploaded a video titled 'Busan spinning kick man Lee ○○' on the 2nd. This 9-minute and 7-second video includes ▲an interview with the victim of the Busan spinning kick incident ▲the perpetrator’s personal information ▲and an explanation of why Caracula disclosed the perpetrator’s identity despite knowing it was illegal. The victim’s face in the video was pixelated, but the voice was not altered, and the perpetrator’s personal information, including name, date of birth, place of birth, and even his criminal record, was disclosed in detail. As of the 4th, this video has received 220,000 likes.
A’s Instagram contains six posts from 2020, one of which is a 'selfie.' The face in this photo matches the individual photo disclosed by 'Caracula Detective Agency.' Among the posts, a particularly eye-catching one is a post from March 2020.
In this post, A expressed hostility, writing, "I tried to live tasting sweetness, but some XX-like things appeared to me and served me XX-like taste lol," and "I wanted to engrave that humans are the cruelest and scariest in the world not just in words but through actions." He continued, "Like a hyena searching for prey, I will find and carefully take care of each one. Wait for me," foreshadowing revenge.
In another post, A posted a photo and video of a woman, saying, "That time was truly meaningful to me," and "It was good. Now it has become a memory. I won’t forget, but just know there is still a lot left to deal with," in a threatening tone. A also expressed revenge while in detention, telling fellow inmates, "When I get out, I will find the (spinning kick) victim and kill her."
Meanwhile, 'Caracula Detective Agency' announced on the 3rd that it received a notification restricting monetization 48 hours after disclosing the 'spinning kick man’s' identity. The email sent by YouTube to the channel operator stated that "a privacy infringement report related to the content has been received."
The Busan spinning kick incident, which occurred last May in the first-floor shared entrance of an officetel in Busanjin-gu, Busan, involved a man in his 30s unilaterally assaulting a woman he did not know. Perpetrator A was sentenced to 12 years in prison in the first trial in October last year for chasing the victim for about 10 minutes and suddenly kicking the victim’s head from behind. The prosecution, based on a re-examination report confirming A’s DNA was detected on the victim’s clothes, has changed the charge from attempted murder to attempted rape-murder and demanded a 35-year prison sentence in the ongoing appeal trial. The second trial verdict is scheduled for the 12th.
