The National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters announced on the 4th that it will hold the 11th Forensic Science Idea Contest.

Every year, the police solicit new techniques, equipment, or innovative ideas that can contribute to the advancement of forensic science.


Applications can be submitted until August 4th through the National Police Agency's forensic science website (www.kcsi.go.kr).


Anyone from the public can participate. The National Police Agency stated that it looks forward to the participation of individuals and organizations possessing the latest technologies and innovative ideas.


The police plan to comprehensively evaluate effectiveness, creativity, scope of application, and cost-effectiveness to select a total of 13 outstanding works. Awards from the Commissioner General of the National Police Agency, encouragement prizes, and prizes will be given. Additionally, the selected ideas will be used as materials for establishing forensic science policies and planning research and development projects.


A National Police Agency official said, "We hope that the Forensic Science Idea Contest will serve as an opportunity to discover excellent ideas and further advance forensic science," and added, "We encourage many people to participate so that it can greatly contribute to the development of forensic science."
