Promotional Activities at the '2023 Lotte Open'

Shin Dong-bin, Chairman of Lotte Group, stated on the 3rd, "As the selection of the host city for the World Expo is an important event about six months away, we will mobilize all of Lotte's capabilities during the remaining period to support the successful hosting of the Busan World Expo."

On the same day, Chairman Shin visited the site of the 2023 Lotte Open, a Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour event held at Bears Best Cheongna Golf Club in Incheon, where he toured the Busan World Expo photo zone and joined in supporting the bid.

Various support activities for the bid were carried out at the Lotte Open. A Busan World Expo photo zone was set up in the Gallery Plaza Zone, and promotional videos were screened. On the weekend game days, Boogi, the representative character of Busan City, and Bellygom, a popular character from Lotte Homeshopping, moved around the tournament venue performing bid support performances.

To raise awareness of the Busan World Expo among broadcast viewers, a message saying "Lotte supports the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo" was displayed on the gallery stands in the Lotte Pleasure Hall event hall, and an emblem sculpture of the Busan World Expo was installed on the tee box. Lotte plans to actively carry out bid support activities for the Busan World Expo, focusing on sports events and global business meetings.
