Including 5 Members in Their Teens for the First Time in Provincial Government Composition
The Provincial Public Pledge Evaluation Group, which adjusts and reviews the implementation of the 8th term Gyeongnam Province's administrative tasks and public pledges, was launched on the 2nd and held its first meeting.
According to Gyeongnam Province, the Provincial Public Pledge Evaluation Group operates to check the implementation status of administrative tasks confirmed last year and to review the appropriateness of changes to pledges that need adjustment due to changes in policy conditions.
Until now, the province has selected and operated 50 members of the evaluation group from residents aged 18 and over, considering region and age, but this year, to increase teenagers' understanding and interest in provincial administration and provide opportunities for policy participation, it was composed for the first time to include five teenagers in their teens.

The evaluation group plans to discuss and review a total of 20 tasks requiring adjustment due to changes in government policy directions, annual financial plans, etc., over three sessions.
At the first meeting, the appointment ceremony, preliminary education, subgroup formation, and agenda distribution took place.
At the second meeting on the 8th, explanations by project managers on adjustment plans such as subgroup pledges, Q&A, and free discussions will be held, and at the third meeting, final deliberations on pledge and task adjustments based on the discussion results and evaluation group activities will be conducted.
Kim Ki-young, Director of Planning and Coordination Office, said, "The most important thing in fulfilling pledges, which are promises to residents, is not unilateral administrative promotion but promotion based on communication with residents," adding, "We will continue to fully explain tasks that need changes to residents and do our best to ensure smooth implementation by reflecting opinions proposed through the Provincial Public Pledge Evaluation Group."
