Damyang Life Culture Network 'Dambit Saenghwaljigi' Activity Held

Resident-Led Networks Spreading Across Regions Through Points, Lines, and Areas

Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation announced on the 2nd that the first activity of Dambit Saenghwaljigi, a community spreading local lifestyle culture, was successfully completed at the seminar room of Damyang Haedong Culture and Arts Village on the 30th of last month as part of the ‘2023 Basic Unit Lifestyle Culture Expansion Support - Everyone's Lifestyle Culture’ project.

Dambit Saenghwaljigi is a lifestyle culture network expansion activity program continuously promoted in 2023 following the cooperative lifestyle culture project in 2022, and anyone interested in lifestyle culture activities in Damyang-gun can participate.

In particular, this year, Dambit Saenghwaljigi gained more significance as key figures in spreading lifestyle culture, such as representatives of cultural and artistic organizations, craft artists, village activists, and club activists who are active at the forefront of local lifestyle culture activities, voluntarily participated.

During the first activity of Dambit Saenghwaljigi, participants shared information about lifestyle culture activities being promoted centered around the villages where they reside.

They also took time to reflect on what lifestyle culture means to them personally, exploring what lifestyle culture unique to Damyang is, and strengthened their determination for future lifestyle culture expansion activities.

A representative of the Cultural Foundation said, “Dambit Saenghwaljigi activities are an opportunity to listen to the stories of local residents who are active closest to lifestyle culture, and we will actively draw out the lifestyle culture latent in every village of Damyang in the future.”
