Meeting Held with Heads of Veterans Organizations Invited

On the 2nd, Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, held a luncheon meeting at a local restaurant, inviting heads of veterans' organizations in celebration of June, the Month of Patriots and Veterans.

The meeting was organized to express gratitude to the heads of veterans' organizations who sacrificed for the country and worked for the development of the nation and local communities, and to listen to various voices from the field regarding veterans' policies.

Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, held a luncheon meeting with heads of veterans' organizations at a local restaurant to commemorate the Month of Patriots and Veterans.

The meeting was attended by 31 heads of veterans' organizations, including Ahn Sang-yong, Chairman of the Changwon Branch of the Disabled Veterans Association, where they communicated and cooperated to enhance the welfare of veterans' families.

The heads of veterans' organizations expressed their appreciation for the luncheon and made suggestions regarding support for national merit recipients and the expansion of support projects for veterans' organizations.

The city conveyed its gratitude and respect for their contributions and efforts, and requested active cooperation to carry out city administration that is trusted by citizens and promotes city development.

Mayor Hong said, "I am always grateful to the national merit recipients and their families who sacrificed for the country to make today's Republic of Korea possible. Going forward, the city will do its best to ensure that national merit recipients and veterans' families receive proper respect and support."
