Telcon RF Pharmaceutical is a manufacturer of acetaminophen syrup. Deputy Director Kwon inspected the syrup production facilities and checked the production status and expansion plans of "Naerinda Syrup," sold by Kwangdong Pharmaceutical. Telcon RF Pharmaceutical announced that it plans to continuously increase the production of Naerinda Syrup to ensure a stable supply of pediatric antipyretics.
Along with the production increase, Deputy Director Kwon urged thorough manufacturing and quality control. He stated, "With the recent easing of COVID-19 quarantine measures, there has been a sharp increase in influenza and cold patients, causing instability in the supply of pediatric antipyretics. We will spare no effort and support to ensure that all citizens can purchase antipyretics without inconvenience."
Additionally, Kang Seokyeon, Director of the Pharmaceutical Safety Bureau at the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, held a meeting with major manufacturers of pediatric antipyretics to share the supply status and reviewed the annual production plans to ensure that both consumer sales and prescription antipyretics are supplied without disruption.
