On the 2nd at 10:30 AM, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam signed an investment agreement worth a total of 20.5 billion KRW with Woorim PTS in the city hall reception room.

The company will establish a new factory producing core products in the aerospace, defense, and robotics sectors on a new site within the Changwon National Industrial Complex and will hire 30 new employees. The city promised various administrative and financial supports.
Woorim PTS is a company that has led the localization of gearboxes in the heavy equipment, steelmaking, energy, and factory automation fields for the past 47 years and was selected as one of the ‘Top 100 Small and Medium Enterprises in Materials, Parts, and Equipment’ in 2020. In 2021, the company changed its name from Woorim Machinery to Woorim PTS and has been expanding its business areas into future industries such as aerospace, defense, and eco-friendly powertrains.
This investment decision was made to professionally develop and mass-produce core parts in the aerospace and defense sectors that were previously produced at the existing business site.
