Missile Fell in the Middle of a Kyiv Road
Kyiv Attacked 17 Times Last Month

As Russia continues its daily airstrikes on Ukraine's capital Kyiv, a video showing a missile striking right in the middle of a road in Kyiv is spreading.

On the 1st (local time), Reuters released a dashcam video capturing Russia's airstrike on Kyiv.


The released footage shows a missile suddenly flying over a road crowded with cars and hitting the ground. Fortunately, no vehicle was directly hit by the missile, but as the missile struck the ground, debris scattered in all directions and flames erupted, turning the surroundings into chaos in an instant. Startled drivers briefly stopped their vehicles.


The video was recorded on the 29th of last month, and it is reported that local police collected all missile fragments for investigation.

Previously, Russia has continued large-scale airstrikes targeting major areas in Ukraine, including Kyiv. Last month, Russia attacked Kyiv and other locations 17 times using drones and other means.


Additionally, Russia conducted airstrikes on Kyiv on the first day of June. Kyiv city authorities explained that at least three people, including two children, were killed and ten were injured due to the bombing. Apartments, hospitals, water pipelines, and vehicles across the city were also destroyed.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian military.


According to Russia's TASS news agency, President Zelensky stated in a video speech posted on his Telegram channel on the 29th of last month, "There was a report from Commander-in-Chief (Valerii Zaluzhnyi) and tactical unit commanders at the Supreme Command meeting."


He continued, "Reports were made not only on ammunition supply, new brigade training, and Ukrainian military tactics but also on the timing of the (counteroffensive)." He emphasized, "This (report on the timing of the counteroffensive) is of utmost importance. It concerns when we will advance."
