[Yang Nak-gyu's Defence photo] Completion of Northwest Islands Comprehensive Training

A large-scale comprehensive exercise involving the combined forces of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps to defend the northwestern islands has been completed. This exercise was a large-scale drill to establish a decisive posture, conducted based on the recently changed North Korean threats and assuming various possible scenarios.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Northwestern Islands Defense Command planned the exercise in coordination with the relevant operational commands of each military branch. The training simulated scenarios from reinforcement preparation and movement to actual deployment on the battlefield in the northwestern islands region.
