Miraesarang, Solgil, Sindorim Children's Parks ... Opened After Installation Inspection
Play? Exercise? Rest Facilities and Ground Pavement Replaced, Trees Planted for Aesthetics
Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) has completed the renovation project for aging facilities in children's parks within the district.
Guro-gu announced on the 2nd, "To provide residents with safe and pleasant park environments, we selected three aging children's parks and began construction last March. The maintenance was completed last month, and the parks are now open and operating."
The parks renovated are ▲Miraesarang Children's Park ▲Solgil Children's Park ▲Sindorim Children's Park. These parks were established over 10 years ago, and their play, exercise, and rest facilities had faded or rusted, with cracks appearing in the paved ground.
Accordingly, the district established a plan earlier this year to refurbish the aging facilities.
They replaced combined playground equipment, exercise and rest facilities, and information boards, and additionally installed net climbing, shaking playground equipment, and swings. For the ground, the existing elastic rubber chips were repaved or wooden decks were replaced with permeable blocks, and for park aesthetics, evergreen shrubs and azaleas were also planted.
The three children's parks, which completed refurbishment last month, underwent sequential installation inspections before opening and starting full operation.
A Guro-gu official stated, "Residents will be able to enjoy much improved parks through this renovation project," and added, "We will continue to do our best to provide residents with resting places within their living areas."
