Launch of Incheon Content Industry Development Council… Incheon TP Supports Content Discovery and Business Growth

Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP) and Incheon City launched the '2023 Incheon Content Industry Development Council' and held the first regular meeting on the 1st.


The Development Council is composed of four specialized subcommittees: ▲Business Development ▲ESG ▲Regional Specialization ▲New Media Content, and plans to discuss strategies to discover content unique to Incheon and support the growth of content companies.


Thirteen experts from industry, academia, research, and government were appointed as subcommittee members, including Jeong Seok-hee, President of the Korea Game Developers Association, Park Du-kyung, Professor at Cheongwoon University, and Yang Ji-hoon, Researcher at the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute.


During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the feasibility study related to the 'K-Content Convergence Cluster Development Project' promoted by Incheon City.


The Development Council will verify the direction of the feasibility study and seek strategies and support measures necessary for the actual establishment of the cluster.


Lee Ju-ho, Director of Incheon TP, stated, "Fostering the cultural content industry is very important to create new value unique to Incheon," adding, "Through the Development Council, we will gather ideas from various experts to ensure that Incheon's content industry can play a leading role."
