"Lotte Biologics Celebrates 1st Anniversary with Commemorative Event"

On the 1st, Lotte Biologics announced on the 2nd that it held its 1st anniversary celebration with all employees attending at the Lotte Human Resources Development Institute Osan Campus.

Jangsoo Ha, Head of Management Support Division, Kyungeun Kim, Head of Global Business Development (BD) Division, Wonjik Lee, CEO, Hyungdeok Yoo, Head of Business Operations Division, and Jooan Kang, Head of Strategic Planning Division, along with other key executives of Lotte Biologics, are cutting a commemorative rice cake to celebrate the company's 1st anniversary.

The event proceeded in the order of ▲Opening ▲CEO congratulatory speech ▲Outstanding employee awards ▲Commemorative rice cake cutting ▲Commemorative photo and closing. Lee Dong-woo, CEO of Lotte Holdings, Lee Hoon-gi, Head of Management Innovation Office at Lotte Holdings (CEO of Lotte Healthcare), Michael Hausleiden, Head of Lotte Biologics USA, and Richard Shiko, Advisor, sent congratulatory and encouraging video messages to motivate Lotte Biologics employees.

Immediately after the anniversary event, external special lectures such as "Crisis Management, Breakthrough with a Challenging Spirit" and "Development of Immuno-oncology Drugs Using Cell Therapy and Advanced Regenerative Medicine Industry" were held, followed by the 2023 first half strategic meeting. The meeting was conducted to review the work achievements over the past year since the corporation's establishment, reaffirm the business status and future plans, and promote unity and growth determination among employees.

Lee Won-jik, CEO of Lotte Biologics, said in his anniversary speech, "Lotte Biologics is growing significantly by solidifying its foundation based on the support of the Lotte Group and the sincere efforts of its employees," adding, "Through this anniversary event where all employees shared the company's strategy and vision, let us unite the capabilities we have built so far and achieve greater growth."

Hausleiden, Head of the U.S. branch, also said in a congratulatory video, "I would like to express my gratitude for the efforts and dedication shown by all employees over the past year," adding, "Thanks to those efforts, we were able to achieve many results in a relatively short period, and moving forward, let us advance toward a greater future with strong teamwork between the U.S. and Korean branches."
