[Tomorrow's Weather] Rain in Southern Regions and Jeju Until Dawn... Seoul Daytime High of 27°C

On Friday the 2nd, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, with showers expected in some areas such as eastern Gyeonggi Province in the afternoon. In the southern regions, rain that started the previous day is expected to mostly stop before 6 a.m.

The expected rainfall in eastern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, northern Chungbuk, and eastern Gyeongbuk, where showers are forecast, is 5 to 20 mm.


The morning low temperatures will range from 16 to 20 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs will range from 23 to 31 degrees Celsius.


Morning low temperatures in major areas are Seoul 18°C, Incheon 17°C, Suwon 17°C, Chuncheon 16°C, Gangneung 21°C, Cheongju 20°C, Daejeon 19°C, Jeonju 20°C, Gwangju 21°C, Daegu 20°C, Busan 20°C, and Jeju 20°C.


Daytime high temperatures are Seoul 27°C, Incheon 22°C, Suwon 26°C, Chuncheon 27°C, Gangneung 27°C, Cheongju 28°C, Daejeon 27°C, Jeonju 29°C, Gwangju 29°C, Daegu 30°C, Busan 28°C, and Jeju 25°C.


Fine dust levels are expected to be mostly 'normal,' but some central-western areas including Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, and Chungnam may temporarily experience 'bad' levels in the morning due to residual fine dust.


Strong gusts along with thunder and lightning are expected in the southern seas near Namhae, Jeju Island, and the southern East Sea, so caution is advised to prevent maritime accidents.


Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea nearshore.


Wave heights in the offshore seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the South Sea.
