The D-day app The Day Before is holding a lottery event called “June, I JUNE-bi-ed for the younger you” throughout June to celebrate the implementation of the international age system.
The Day Before, a D-day app available on iPhone and Android, updated its international age calculation method earlier this year in line with its concept of “together on every precious day.” Using this feature, users can accurately check their international age, as well as additional information such as Korean age (counted age), days remaining until the next birthday, and days lived.
To commemorate the launch of the international age calculation method within The Day Before app, this event is conducted as an easy and fun lucky random lottery game. Participation simply requires pressing the lottery button and checking the result.
During the event period, users can participate once per day, every day. The more days you participate, the higher your chances of winning, and multiple prize wins are possible. If you do not win in the lottery, you can enter a bonus draw.
Lee Seon-jae, CEO of The Day Before, said, “The Day Before, well known as the Galaxy D-day app and iPhone D-day app, has prepared a large-scale lottery event with over 500 winners to celebrate the implementation of the international age system. The event runs until June 30, and through the app, users can check the international age and days remaining until birthdays of people around them, gaining useful information as well as enjoyment.”
Meanwhile, The Day Before is Korea’s first D-day app, launched on March 4, 2010. It is a national D-day app with over 40 million downloads combined on Android and iOS. It provides basic calculation methods such as D-day, number of days, months, weeks, year-month-day, and repeats (weekly, monthly, yearly, lunar calendar), as well as situation-specific calculation methods for couples, birthdays, exams, and more.
Additionally, in The Day Before app, besides the newly added international age calculation method this year, users can select birthday, lunar birthday, or baby month calculation methods to check the appropriate D-day and international age at once.
Especially when calculating lunar birthdays, setting the D-day using the lunar birthday calculation method allows users to know the corresponding solar birthday date. Among parenting moms, the app has gained popularity as an essential app that lets them check their child’s days, weeks, months, Korean age, and international age all at once.
