H Plus Yangji Hospital announced on the 1st that it has introduced the first video consultation service for health checkup results among domestic hospitals.
The hospital's newly adopted 'Video help.me' is a video solution that allows a consultation nurse to review the checkup report with the customer while viewing it on a smartphone monitor. Without any separate installation, a link is sent to the customer, and by pressing the video consultation button to enter the chat room, real-time video consultation is possible.
Previously, if a specialist consultation was needed among checkup customers, they were classified as having findings, and the consultation nurse guided them to a specialist consultation by phone. However, many customers did not have their checkup reports on hand, making it difficult to receive thorough guidance. With the introduction of this solution, customers can now view their own checkup reports on their smartphones together with the consultation nurse and have real-time video consultations, making it more convenient to discuss their health status, the hospital explained.
Hospital Director Kim Sang-il said, "We have been considering ways to complement the existing checkup result consultation method to provide more convenience to customers, and with this video consultation solution, we expect to improve customer satisfaction." He added, "We will take the lead in implementing patient-centered hospital and smart hospital medical infrastructure by improving the medical environment and quality of care through patient experience."
