Price Increase Again After About a Year Since Last May
'Gapyusin MM' Jumps 700,000 Won Overnight
Luxury brand Louis Vuitton has implemented a price increase on some of its bags. This comes about a year after two previous price hikes in February and May of last year.
According to Louis Vuitton on the 1st, the so-called 'Kim Hee-ae bag,' the 'Capucines MM,' saw a significant price increase from 9.84 million KRW to 10.55 million KRW. This represents a rise of about 700,000 KRW overnight, exceeding 7%. The 'Capucines Mini Black' increased by 660,000 KRW from 8.12 million KRW to 8.78 million KRW, and the 'Capucines BB Black' rose by 270,000 KRW from 8.63 million KRW to 8.90 million KRW.
The 'Alma PM' went up 6.4% from 2.5 million KRW to 2.66 million KRW, the 'Cluny BB' increased 4.9% from 3.07 million KRW to 3.22 million KRW, and the 'Madeleine BB' rose 2.2% from 3.63 million KRW to 3.71 million KRW. Additionally, the 'Neo Alma BB' increased slightly from 3.19 million KRW to 3.22 million KRW, and the 'Speedy Bandouli?re' size 25 rose from 2.44 million KRW to 2.50 million KRW.
The 'Petite Malle,' showcased by actress Han Hyo-joo and others at the Louis Vuitton fashion show, increased by about 500,000 KRW from 7.25 million KRW to 7.74 million KRW. The 'On My Side GM' rose 4.8% from 6.46 million KRW to 6.77 million KRW, and the 'Mini Dauphine Yellow' saw a slight increase from 5.54 million KRW to 5.64 million KRW.
Furthermore, fashion items such as the 'Cropped Denim Jacket' also saw price increases, rising nearly 300,000 KRW from 6.7 million KRW to 6.97 million KRW.
Louis Vuitton had previously implemented price increases twice last year in February and May. Another luxury brand, Chanel, raised prices on some products in February and May of this year, and Bottega Veneta also increased prices on some products in May, just six months after their last hike.
