Up to 30,000 KRW Discount Benefit
for All IQOS Iluma Series Products through Trade-in Program
Korea Philip Morris announced on the 1st that it will expand its consumer program for all products in the next-generation heated tobacco device IQOS Iluma series to convenience store channels. Now, the IQOS Iluma series can be purchased at over 20,000 convenience stores nationwide with a discount of up to 30,000 KRW.
There are two major changes with this program. First, the trade-in and friend referral programs, which were previously only applicable to IQOS Iluma Prime and IQOS Iluma products, will now also apply to IQOS Iluma One. Additionally, the consumer programs that were previously only available at official IQOS stores will be expanded to over 20,000 convenience stores nationwide, including GS25, CU, and 7-Eleven.
By using the trade-in program where customers return their existing IQOS devices (IQOS 2.4 Plus, IQOS 3, IQOS 3 Multi, IQOS 3 Duo), they can purchase IQOS Iluma Prime and IQOS Iluma at discounted prices of 109,000 KRW and 69,000 KRW respectively, each with a 30,000 KRW discount. IQOS Iluma One can be purchased for 54,000 KRW, a 15,000 KRW discount. However, the returned IQOS device must be registered under the customer's name on the official IQOS website.
Also, by using the friend referral program where a new customer makes their first purchase based on a recommendation from an existing IQOS user, IQOS Iluma Prime and IQOS Iluma can be purchased at discounted prices of 119,000 KRW and 79,000 KRW respectively, each with a 20,000 KRW discount. IQOS Iluma One can be purchased for 59,000 KRW, a 10,000 KRW discount.
Korea Philip Morris first launched IQOS Iluma Prime and IQOS Iluma in Korea last October, followed by the introduction of IQOS Iluma One in February this year. Notably, IQOS Iluma One features an integrated design that fits lightly in one hand for easy portability and can be used continuously up to 20 times on a full charge.
