Hana Financial Group and Mirae Asset Securities Sign Business Agreement
Collaboration on Token Securities and Blockchain Infrastructure Development

Hana Financial Group is partnering with Mirae Asset Securities to promote future finance-related businesses such as blockchain-based token securities (ST).

On the 1st, Hana Financial Group announced that it signed a "Business Agreement for Cooperation on Token Securities and Web 3.0 Projects" with Mirae Asset Securities on the 31st of last month at the Group's Myeongdong headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, to lead future digital finance. Token securities refer to assets that digitize securities under the Capital Markets Act using distributed ledger technology.

Accordingly, Hana Financial Group will participate in the token securities consortium, Next Finance Initiative (NFI), together with Mirae Asset Securities. Through NFI, the two companies plan to promote ▲ issuance of high-quality token securities ▲ discovery of innovative services through proper use of blockchain ▲ proposals on establishing investor protection systems and related regulations. They also plan to expand overseas based on successful domestic cases, believing that token securities can enable the creation of a borderless financial investment ecosystem.
