UljinFS, a youth futsal club from Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, won first place at the 25th Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism National Futsal Tournament held in Jecheon-si, Chungbuk, from the 27th to the 28th.
In this competition, the high school division (Go Eun-su, Go Eun-seop, Kim Sang-young, Yang Na-hyeok, Jin Min-seong, Choi Hyung-woo, Im Seong-uk, coach Lee Hyun-hyo) won first place, and the university division (Hwang Hyun-jin, Nam Jeong-hyun, Lee Seo-hwa, Lee Hyun-woo, Im Dong-hwi, Yoo Sang-hyeok, Jeong Jae-jin, Park Hyun-wook, Jin Se-ho, Lee Jae-hoon, coaches Park Seong-min and Nam Young-chan) achieved third place.
UljinFS is a youth club at the Uljin-gun Youth Training Center, including middle and high school students from Uljin Middle School, Uljin High School, Jukbyeon High School, and Pyeonghae Information High School. Founded in 2010, under the guidance of advisor Park Kyung-seon (Byeonggok Middle School), the club has continued sports activities during leisure time.
Advisor Park Kyung-seon said, “I am grateful to the friends who gave their best until the end of the game, and I am proud that their hard work has borne good fruit.”
Jang Myeong-ok, Director of the Social Welfare Division, said, “Congratulations to UljinFS on their award. I am pleased that the joint futsal club activities help youth relieve stress and prevent school violence, contributing to their proper growth.” She added, “We will continue to actively support youth club support projects so that young people can realize their dreams and talents.”
