Papa Mobility (hereinafter Papa) is a mobility platform operator providing an ‘escort transportation’ service for mobility-impaired and premium customers. Through this protocol training by the Army Military Police, Papa plans to offer customers a more comfortable and reliable mobility service.

Since Papa prioritizes mobility-impaired individuals and provides premium customer service, the Military Police conducted training to ensure crews can carefully care for customers and respond to emergency situations.

The training covered ▲basic etiquette (conversation and behavior) ▲care according to vehicle type ▲protocol and escort duties ▲defensive driving and maneuvering techniques ▲emergency response methods (including CPR training and patient support techniques).

Papa’s ‘crew’ refers to the drivers employed by Papa Mobility, composed of former military personnel, police officers, and public officials. Papa directly selects and hires crews with a strong sense of social mission and provides systematic and professional training to ensure comfortable and safe service from mobility-impaired individuals to premium customers.

Lieutenant Colonel Jeong Young-min, a Military Police official, stated, “The Army Military Police have extensive experience and know-how in protecting and providing protocol services for foreign dignitaries and state guests. We hope this training serves as a valuable opportunity to share the Military Police’s expertise with Papa Mobility, which strives to provide valuable services to mobility-impaired and premium customers.”

Kim Young-tae, CEO of Papa Mobility, said, “It is very unusual for the Military Police to provide protocol training to a private company. Through this opportunity, we want to develop our services with a stronger sense of mission and become No.1 in mobility-impaired and premium services.”

Additionally, a Papa representative stated that although the service is currently limited to about 100 vehicles mainly operating in the Gangnam area of Seoul, they plan to expand to more regions so that more customers can use the service. They also mentioned that to provide better service to customers, more vehicles are needed, and discussions with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport regarding increasing the fleet are currently underway.
