Hanwha Aerospace and Hanwha Systems Employees Over 80 Participate
"Contributing to National Security as a Leading Defense Company of Korea"
Employees of Hanwha Aerospace and Hanwha Systems, defense affiliates of Hanwha Group, visited the National Seoul Memorial Cemetery on the 30th to pay their respects in June, the "Month of Patriots and Veterans," marking the 70th anniversary of the Korean War armistice.
On the 31st, the two companies announced that about 80 employees, including Son Jae-il, CEO of Hanwha Aerospace, and Uh Seong-cheol, CEO of Hanwha Systems, visited the National Seoul Memorial Cemetery in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, to participate in memorial and grave site cleanup activities.
Hanwha Aerospace made its first visit for memorial services since its sequential mergers with Hanwha Defense in November last year and Hanwha Defense (formerly Hanwha Corporation Defense Division) in April this year.

Since establishing a sisterhood relationship with the National Seoul Memorial Cemetery in 2011, Hanwha Group has continued annual visits and volunteer activities at the cemetery.
Hanwha Aerospace and Hanwha Systems stated, "This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Korean War armistice," adding, "As leading defense companies of the Republic of Korea, we will uphold the spirit of the patriotic martyrs with a sense of responsibility and contribute to national security."
