Lotte Duty Free Stores Run Vacation Season Promotion

Lotte Duty Free announced that its Gimpo Airport branch has reopened on the 31st after undergoing a three-month renovation.

Having successfully secured the cosmetics, fashion, and food duty-free business rights at Gimpo Airport in October 2021, Lotte Duty Free secured a business period of up to 10 years at Gimpo Airport. Through this store renewal, it now offers a more comfortable shopping space.

From January to April this year, the number of international passengers at Gimpo Airport totaled 770,000, marking a 138% increase compared to the previous four months. Lotte Duty Free Gimpo Airport branch reported that sales during the recent three months of operating a temporary store increased by 60% compared to the prior three months.

The newly renovated store has newly introduced overseas cosmetic brands such as La Mer, Le Labo, and Herm?s perfumes. Lotte Duty Free plans to promote Korean tourism and culture to foreign tourists through a large LED screen installed in one corner of the store. By mid-next month, a large travel-themed sculpture called 'Travel Scene' will be installed to provide airport users with the joy of travel. To commemorate the renewal opening, an event offering gifts from tenant brands based on purchase amounts will also be held until the end of next month.

On the day of reopening, Lotte Duty Free presented tickets to the 32nd Lotte Duty Free Family Concert to the first customers at the Gimpo Airport branch. We will do our best to provide both domestic and foreign customers visiting Gimpo Airport with the joy of duty-free shopping."

Meanwhile, to celebrate the summer vacation season, Lotte Duty Free is running the 'Sparkling Summer' promotion for domestic customers until July 30. Customers who purchase over $300 and complete the prize draw will be entered to win airline tickets to Sydney, Australia, and Tokyo, Japan, as well as accommodation vouchers for Lotte Hotel Jeju.
