Kyungsung University held an environmental cleanup volunteer activity called the "Kyungsung Follow-Plogging" campaign at Gwangalli Beach on the 25th in celebration of the Daedongje Festival.
The volunteer activity involved 15 faculty and staff members, including Ji-yeon Park, Deputy Director of the Planning and Coordination Office at Kyungsung University, 3 enrolled students, and 2 local residents, who picked up trash around the Gwangalli area and cleaned the surrounding environment.
Kyungsung University stated that this volunteer activity was meaningful in that, unlike the first round which only involved faculty and staff, students and local residents also participated, fostering a culture of volunteering.
A representative from Kyungsung University said, "We plan to continue conducting various volunteer programs together with faculty, staff, and students in the future."
