"Raising Kids Is Tough, Right? Now Come to 'Jjaeksegwon'" Allcare Education-Specialized Complex by Dongmoon Construction, 'Wonju Dongmoon The East'

Interest in the so-called ‘Jjaek-se-gwon’ is expected to rise, especially among parents focused on their children’s education.

As is already widely known, the term '○-se-gwon' reflects the location value that people consider important. In particular, location conditions favored by consumers have been highlighted, such as ‘Seul-se-gwon’ where commercial areas are within slipper-wearing distance near apartment complexes, ‘Yeok-se-gwon’ emphasizing proximity to subway stations, ‘Se-se-gwon’ near Starbucks, and ‘Mol-se-gwon’ adjacent to large shopping malls.

Recently, as more parents feel the burden of childcare and education, a new coined term ‘Jjaek-se-gwon’ has emerged, referring to areas where one can enjoy the professional platform service called ‘Jjaek-Ak-Eo’.

Jjaek-Ak-Eo provides integrated online and offline care and education services, covering everything from play to learning. It connects rigorously verified and trained university students, childcare teachers, and specialty instructors with families raising children from age one to elementary school students. Jjaek-Ak-Eo is recognized as the only domestic service offering integrated childcare, play, and education services in various settings such as homes, companies, online non-face-to-face platforms, Jjaek-Seom Kids Centers, and apartment communities.

In particular, Jjaek-Ak-Eo is expanding its childcare services by utilizing offline spaces. The offline space called ‘Jjaek-Seom’ is gaining popularity in the metropolitan area, including Jamsil Lotte World Mall, Ilsan, Pangyo, Hanam, Suwon, and Yongin, and has been highly rated by residents as it has entered landmark complexes such as Godeok Xi.

With such high satisfaction, Jjaek-Ak-Eo’s childcare services are expected to be available for the first time in Wonju, Gangwon Province, drawing significant attention from consumers.

‘Wonju Dongmun The East,’ scheduled for sale by Dongmun Construction in June, will offer trendy childcare services free of charge for two years within the community of the complex. This is because it plans to host the highly popular ‘Jjaek-Ak-Eo Kids Center’ for moms, operating it free of charge for two years after move-in. Once the Jjaek-Ak-Eo Kids Center is established within the community, it will provide an indoor playground where children can run and play, along with various kids’ classes offering multiple play and learning contents. Especially, while children use the Jjaek-Ak-Eo facilities, guardians can use the internal community services or go out after leaving their children, which is expected to greatly increase resident satisfaction.

In addition to Jjaek-Ak-Eo, ‘Wonju Dongmun The East’ plans to attract Daechi Nuri Education, a prestigious academy from Gangnam Daechi, to its commercial facilities within the complex, enabling residents to enjoy excellent educational environments similar to those in Seoul’s Gangnam area. The academy will offer a diverse curriculum for children aged six (before elementary school) through middle school students. Furthermore, to reduce private education expenses and improve education quality, it plans to support 50% of tuition fees for one child per household for two years after move-in.

For the health of children and families, the ‘Hu-Cares’ visiting exercise service will also be operated free of charge within the complex for two years. It will be customized for residents and conducted twice a year with a total of eight sessions, including kids’ programs and senior programs. Expected programs include infant growth ballet, kids’ growth ballet, senior line dance, and senior medical ballet stretching. Detailed program plans can be freely discussed and modified by residents later.

A sales official stated, “As ‘Wonju Dongmun The East’ is the first Dongmun The East brand apartment introduced in Gangwon Province, it will be developed as a complex where residents can enjoy differentiated educational privileges,” adding, “Since a group purchase event for local consumers is also underway, the number of interested applicants is expected to increase.”

‘Wonju Dongmun The East’ is planned to be built in Gwanseol-dong, Wonju-si, Gangwon Province, consisting of 11 buildings from basement level 2 to 15 floors above ground, with a total of 873 households and exclusive areas of 80, 84, and 115 square meters. The breakdown by exclusive area is △80㎡ 144 households △84㎡ 642 households △115㎡ 87 households. The model house is scheduled to open in June.

Meanwhile, ‘Wonju Dongmun The East’ is also conducting a group purchase event for local consumers. For those purchasing jointly with two or more people, such as colleagues from the same workplace, residents of the same complex, or newlyweds married less than seven years, a cash reward of 1 million KRW per person (excluding taxes and fees) will be provided. This reward will be given only to contract holders who sign contracts with two or more people among the successful applicants meeting the group purchase conditions. Detailed information can be found on the official website.
