Mutual Support and Infrastructure Cooperation for Local Talent Development
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, YGPA) announced on the 30th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National Suncheon University (President Lee Byeong-woon, hereinafter Suncheon University) at the Suncheon University headquarters for mutual development, including fostering local talented individuals and supporting employment and entrepreneurship.
At the business agreement ceremony, both institutions agreed to actively cooperate in mutual support and infrastructure development for the linked advancement of fostering local talented individuals and industry-academia cooperation.

Specifically, they agreed on various areas of mutual cooperation, including ▲ mutual support and infrastructure cooperation for fostering excellent talents in smart marine ports ▲ mutual support and cooperation for a digital convergence training platform ▲ support for field trips, internships, and practical training to cultivate practical skills ▲ development of educational programs for customized talent cultivation.
President Park Seong-hyun said, “Through this agreement, we hope to share and develop the human resources and infrastructure possessed by both institutions to create synergy for regional development and talent cultivation.”
