Gyeongbuk Office of Education Announces Open Recruitment for 479 Educational Public Officials ... Special Education Assistants and Cooks Gyeongbuk Office of Education.

Applicants wishing to apply can submit their application forms by visiting the education support offices in the recruitment areas or by registered mail/electronic mail from June 12 to June 14 for three days.

Special education assistants will be selected through the usual process of a first written test (aptitude and personality test) and a second interview, while the written test (aptitude and personality test) for cooks has been abolished and replaced by document screening. Final candidates for cooks will be selected through first document screening and second interview.

The abolition of the written test (aptitude and personality test) for the cook position is a solution to the ongoing vacancy issues for cooks, reflecting opinions from the head office business departments and school sites on the current examination system.

The first written test (aptitude and personality test) will be held on July 8 only for the special education assistant position, followed by the second interview on July 27, and the final successful candidates will be announced on August 2.

Other detailed information regarding eligibility and examinations can be found in the announcements on the websites of the Gyeongbuk Office of Education and the city/county education support offices.

Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of Education of Gyeongbuk, said, “This recruitment involved much consideration, including improving the examination system to select talents suited to the characteristics of each job category. I hope it will greatly help the school field, and we will continue to actively work to solve issues in the educational field.”
